After Renewed Identity

Who are you? It's a question we each answer. It's fundamental to living life as a human being. How we answer becomes important as it influences the ways we interact with each other and the world around us. Understanding who we are in Christ is primary as we go after a renewed identity.

In life, we are often tempted to find our value and purpose in our family, job, or even our country. More often it seems identity is defined by our gender/sexuality (I am what I feel) or ideology/politics (I am what I think). Christians are not immune from these things. While our identity in Christ does not eliminate these areas, it does transform them. When we live as a beloved child of God, the other areas of who we are; are transformed.

Continue to lean in to learning what we "put on" because of Christ. As new creations, we have renewed desires resulting in renewed responses because of our renewed identity! (Colossians 3:5-11)
