Turning Lament Into Prayer

In the process of lament, God invites us to approach Him with our authentic selves, encouraging us to neither diminish nor deflect our emotions, but to present them before Him with all honesty and humility. God graciously invites us to give voice to our most daunting questions and profound doubts before Him. Although Lamentations, in its entirety, doesn't directly provide solutions to the questions raised, it hints at answers found in Jesus. Suffering is not the end of the story.
