The Depths of Despair

In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart!" Jesus let His followers know that "In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart!" Jesus let His followers know that even though the Kingdom of God was here with His arrival, it wouldn't reach its fullness until He came back. In the meantime, we still face the challenges and pain of a world not yet fully transformed. Just like Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane, we are encouraged to grapple openly and genuinely with God as we confront life's difficulties, including the heartache of damaged or strained relationships.
