Resilient in God's Ways
What comes to mind when you think about power? Often images of towering mountains, majestic lions, or even the sharp edge of a sword. These are symbols of strength revered by our world. Yet, the true demonstration of God's power and wisdom is revealed in an unlikely way; it is revealed at the cross.
In this message, we're looking at growing in resilience in God's ways. These ways are not unattainable or something beyond our finite mind's ability to grasp, but has been demonstrated by Jesus at the cross. It's this pivotal moment in history that defines what withstanding the cultural and religious pressures looks like. At the cross, what the world dismisses as 'foolishness' becomes the cornerstone of a life oriented 'right-side up.' Here, true might is revealed in humility, strength is discovered in surrender, and life emerges from death.
The cross challenges our conventional views, inviting us into a radical reimagining of victory and endurance. It teaches us that resilience in God’s kingdom isn't about how steadfastly we can face opposition on our own terms but about how deeply we can yield to God’s will and embody the good news of the Gospel in our daily lives.
